Committee Chairperson Vacancy
Job Description
1. Acts as the authority responsible for proposing any
interpretations, changes or clarifications in the Breed
Standard, the Guidelines for Judging Pygmy Goats, and the
required body measurements. Recommendations for change are
submitted to the Board and require a two-thirds vote for
approval.
2. Maintains regular communication with the Health,
Education & Research and the Judges Training Committees.
3. Receives and evaluates complaints pertaining to a judge’s
interpretation of the breed standard. If, in the opinion of
a majority of the members of the Breed Standard Committee, a
judge has not interpreted the breed standard correctly, such
opinion will be forwarded to the Judges Training Committee
with a recommendation for remedial action.
